Hypertension Disorder
Hypertension , also known as high blood pressure , is a common medical condition that affects millions of individuals worldwide. It occurs when the force of blood pushing against the walls of the arteries is consistently too high, leading to health complications such as heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and other serious ailments. Blood pressure is measured using two numbers: systolic pressure (the pressure when the heart beats) and diastolic pressure (the pressure when the heart is at rest between beats). Around 120/80 mmHg is widely accepted as the normal blood pressure range. Hypertension disorder can be classified into two main categories: primary (essential) hypertension and secondary hypertension.
